Roda Golf and Beach Resort has it's own private Beach Club available only to residents and accessible via a boat journey across the Mar Menor
The Beach Club has a restaurant and bar service, which also serves the pool & beach area, a supervised swimming pool with jacuzzi, zone of solarium, changing rooms with lockers, etc… all for the benefit of the residents of Roda Golf & Beach Resort.
A charge is made for the transport to and from the beach club.
The local blue flag beaches at Los Narejos are less than 5 mins drive from Roda. White sand, lots of beach bars and perfect for children as there are no significant waves or currents due to the influence of the inland sea of the Mar Menor.
Mar Menor (Little Sea) is a unique area located on the east coast of Spain, within the region of Murcia, just above the city of Cartagena. Few regions have the good fortune to have both a saltwater lake and a Mediterranean shore. The region of Murcia has both and the salt water lake with an area of 170sq.km is known as Mar Menor, the largest salt water lake in Europe.
As well as the natural importance of the area the mud and clay are said to have therapeutic properties, known for centuries.
With so much water here there is no wonder that the area is a haven for watersports. The possibilities here are endless from sailing to diving, windsurfing and jetskiing.
